Nothing of that sort is going to happen. MSFT has just turned out to be the IBM of this decade. The appeals process will take a long time and just as in the case of IBM, it may not even be necessary to break-up Microsoft after all. The competition would have overtaken it by then. MSFT would be just another big-name stock with a glorious past, just as IBM is today.

I just watched the DOJ press conference and these guys make me ill. They are so pleased with themselves. They had better watch it or this whole thing could bite them in the butt from a political viewpoint.

I'm surprised how they are dragging it on. A simple press release would have done the job. Maybe they anticipate political back lash.

Nice hit on the NAZ today. I'm still bullish FWIW.

Already has. After Bush's offensive and demeaning campaign against McCain in SC, I wrote him off, "no matter what." Now I'm wavering. A clean slate at the DOJ may be worth my vote.

Justa, Tom Dorsey will appear on the afternoon edition of "Taking Stock" at 5:45 p.m. EST. He's been bullish the listed stocks and bearish the OTC stocks for the last few weeks. I've been bullish both. Shows how two people can read the same Point & Figure indicators differently! He's been doing this for many years of course.
