"Today's decision was a clear victory for the American consumer...." We heard that quote dozens of times today from the DoJ and frau Reno. What a crock ! Does anyone believe that any "penalty" paid by Microsoft will equal the market value lost to the 55 million Americans who own mutual funds (who in turn own MSFT) or Nazdaq-listed equities that got trashed today ? Looks like the Greenspan "Wealth Effect" got popped on cue. There are plenty of true monopolies that deserve prosecution, start with cartels like the NASD, Cali, or even OPEC. </end rant>
