Frank, you don't have to convince me. I lost lots of money in the past few days. I believe my satirical post earlier was a hint to that effect. I consider myself a small and fairly inexperienced investor with 15 months in CMGI. Today was too much for me to bear. NASDAQ and DOW were both down over 500 points. I knew it would turn, but not when or at what level. I saw my money disappearing faster than I could place limit orders through Schwab. Granted, I was still up 35% or so as CMGI approached $70, but I was also approaching the dreaded "margin call" area and wanted to leave with at least some of my dignity.

I tried to sell. My first limit order was to high, so I cancelled it and submitted a second. It was also too high by the time it was entered. I cancelled it and then mad the BIG STUPID mistake of entering a desperation MARKET order to sell.

As soon as the MARKET order was entered, the first limit order to sell at 75.5 was filled!!

With the market order still in place I was in the position of selling shares I no longer owned. Guess what! At that moment CMGI bounced and turned up again. Before I figured out what to do, and believe me I was at a loss, I bought my shares back in two lots between 86 and 89.

Finally, the market order, placed at or near the day's bottom for CMGI never filled! At least I have my shares back - the basis is much higher though.

Back to your original message. I have never voted for Clinton. Call me a good judge of character, but I saw him and the rest of his crowd for what they were before he left Arkansas.

Thanks,
Jim

Oh good, so they can force unwanted children to be born and peer into our bedrooms, while cleaning their gun and quoting the bible?

Guess it just depends what you will trade for a tax break..
