Zeev, your analysis was impeccable (perfect) except that you assumed that the U.S. Office of Patents & Copyrights speaks English. They do not.

They speak a language of their own creation. And the lawyers who understand this language charge (U.S.) $400 or more dollars per hour. God bless those who are in the right

For those who are in the right must pay a cost so extreme that only those who are CERTAIN would proceed in the U.S. Courts. To defend a matter in Japanese courts, would take a "hero".

Zeev, the next time I turn on my "intermittent wind shield wipers", I will remember your post. But I doubt that I will send a check to the supposed inventor. Plans for such wipers appeared in various magazens several years before they appeared in cars from major manufacturers.

God bless his lawyers if he received $56 MM. The man who invented the book match died a pauper and I use his innovation most every day.
