Many with short positions they started under 50 closed them out with shares they bought from the panicked longs in the dip.

So there will be that much less short squeeze pressure on ZIXI's next PR-driven spike.

I am waiting for DC to blow his wad on a PR related to ZixCharge then I will be in again.

Jose,
You know it. I know it. Just reporting what I have seen over in Never-never Land. Earlier, on this thread, there was a link that showed a decline in the short position before the run-up which I am too lazy to find.
But over there, last week the average short was in the 60s. This week, the average short is in 30-50.
If it makes them happy....

Matchmaker.com

Jose, in Dec Zixi announced a "deal" with matchmaker.com (headquartered in Texas) to promote Zixmail on matchmaker's site with a Zixmail download button and to recommend Zixmail to its more than 1 million members.

According to matchmaker's own disclosed info, it has about 270,000 active users, far less than 1 million. Why the discrepancy? Because free trial members are purged from database after 30-days if they don't convert to regular paid members. Counting registered members is like counting all cars that have once passed through a toll road to project toll revenue.

More shocking fact is Zixmail is not being promoted to its members, as far as I know. And there's no Zixmail download button. In response to an inquiry, a matchmaker personnel stated that their current email system is secure, and they're not recommending any email encryption package.

So, what's the deal with matchmaker.com?

Regards,

Tom
