Re: "target price of $120 from ML on CNBC." craztoldman, What do you think of 80 by earnings, 90 after announcement? I don't usually like short term options, but a I just put in an order for a couple of April 65's with a limit of 4 bucks. I hope it gets filled. ajb

Crazyman, I heard ML's new target as #120, too. I've been telling my friends (who have now all bought AMD) that when Merril turns, we will have a very good day. I guess that Osha isn't too worried about Intel's ability to lower the price boom. THIS IS GREAT!!! Pravin.

Osha has been neutral/negative on AMD previously, always worrying about Intel's pricing response as an excuse not to upgrade. I guess he is now one of the bandwagon people Niceguy is talking about! He is trying to stand out of the crowd with a three digit price target. Kumar, Peck - the stock is running up w/o you, better catch the bandwagon while you still can. ;)

Crazyoldman, when did you buy those chips from week 9, 1999? Was it recently? Maybe AMD is experiencing such a demand that everything resembling an Athlon die has been packaged and sold, including the early runs from the test fab. Joe
