EdA, m'dear: I get into too much trouble too easily.

On Superficial and Vivesectional: (And you know all this. You are simply being gabby.) I merely attempted to throw a patina over desirable human interrelationships. You went into the nuts and bolts of my patina. Academically, you are absolutely correct. Spiritually, I would vote for me.

On Altruism and Generosity: Is there a difference between Bill Gates giving several hundred million to a worthy cause and me sharing my Whopper with a Whopperless chap, or kid, standing outside the Burger King?

Sure! Though I fully support the former, I profoundly urge the latter become more broadly acceptable.

I am somewhat surprised that my brief, virtually thoughtless, glossing over of a haughty post from Terry turned into so much seriousness.

On Libertarianism: I am not condemning it for greed. It is the heartlessness of its insistence on DOING (see Rinse) as a prerequisite for reasonable continuation of life in this society.

We are bouncing balls, yes?

George

PS: One. There are too many glib, mindless imperatives placed upon "others" by "us".

Two: Conceptually, we are not each of us. We are all of us.
