Yes, of course, this is true in most "pro"fessions. Like Medicine, sports, engineering, welding, construction, you name it.

I know that I quit going to the dentist or doctor years ago, when I realized that professionals by definition don't know as much as someone who spent 30 minutes chatting about a particular subject over lunch and watching TV.
