The 10-day was the first to curl under the other averages, including medium-term 50-day. The others are following suit, while the 50-day has flattened. It would take another approximately another 25 trading days for the 200-day moving average to reach the 3650 low of yesterday.

Hey S.O., good to see you posting. intelligentspeculator.com An updated COMPX internals wallpaper chart. I'm still a little amazed at how quickly the Nasdaq hit the downside targets (the bottom of the previous trading range), certainly indicative of how unstable things really are. Perhaps a sense of relief will engender bullishness too fast -- a repeat and worse performance may not be far off. Wednesday the market made a higher high (barely) and low today on the daily, end of day shorts can follow the up bars underneath with a sell stop. Would expect resistance underneath the upper trading range / Oct 18 99 trend line. --- Watching also the dollar closely as it continues to consolidate just above a trading range dating back to July 99. It looks poised for a big move, too soon to tell where. Soon however I think we should know.
