Phil,

Thanks for the encouraging words, but for now keep your hat on. We have about 9-15 more years of parenting ahead of us. Will keep you posted on the progress!!! <smiles>

Jane

Thinking you might appreciate this story Phil.

It is about My daughter and her friend Sherri that I just posted about in my last story.

The summer they were about 4 years old. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon Emily came trotting into the house, proud as could be. Dragging me outside..."come see what me and Sherri did"...and pulling me..."come on!!" She took me to where she showed me their accomplishments. There plain as day was the word "Emily" and some other little drawings. The girls both excitedly bragged about which part of this art work belonged to who...
Emily saying, <pointing>"and I did this, and Sherri did that....and I did this>"
Sherri on the other side doing the same thing, <pointing>>"and I did this, and Emily did that....and I did this."
They were so incredibly proud of themselves. I thought it was very cute as well, but I was just not sure how her dad was going to handle it. I was just not sure he would see the beauty in their accomplishments on the side of his car. And the talent they displayed using that gravel for a writing instrument!!!

I told Sherri to go get her parents, and I would get Mike and we could show everyone what they had done. The 4 of us parents stood there as once again the girls executed their bragging rights!! Being that I had seen it first, the looks on the other parents faces was as priceless as the doodling the girls had done!!!
