I have to admit that I tried to play a couple of NASDAQ's during the first 20 minutes after the open yesterday and the whole thing was too slow to work.

The whole purpose of "one click" execution from Level 2 is to shave a few seconds off the process and hopefully give you an advantage. When the system has come to a crawl, I hit the one click and then sometimes have to wait minutes before the order even shows up in the Mytrade log. By that time, the prices could have moved more than $1 +/- from where I one-clicked the buy. Then, you request open orders to try and cancel that buy and you realize that it has only showed up in the log once and the Broker hasn't even acknowledged the order yet.

I have ended up buying ARBA at prices I no longer wanted even after Mytrade let me cancel the order (once it finally showed up at all). It's scary enough stuff such that I usually just watch the morning opens!

I think enough noise has been made and giving everyone the benefit of the doubt then it's time for Mytrack to start dispatching technician(s) to see this work for themselves. If it works fine for them, good, but it's not working for everyone and they need to make an effort to get it fixed.

Since Track doesn't seem to understand the "depth" of the problem, they obviously need to witness it first hand.

So I lay down the challange to Mytrack and 2Mars - I'd be willing to have a tech. come over to my house 1/2 hour before trading starts to witness how the system operates. I am probably not the best choice since I don't often tax the system as hard as 2Mars, et. al. (yet). So how about it Mars, you willing to do the same? How about it Track, are you willing to do what it takes to get things right?

Mike
