Hey, you guys, listen. I worked for a week to convince my beautiful wife that a weekend with the boys would be a good thing. Now Merlin posts this wide-fricking-open invitation to every gorilla, king, monkey, chimp, prince, serf on SI, including their girlfriends, wives, husbands, dogs, cats, and houseboys. Getting a kitchen pass has suddenly become verrrrry difficult. Do I say, "Oh, Mike was kidding. You know Mike; he's such a kidder.".. Harrumph. Hardly a credible statement. (She knows Mike, and he ain't a kidder!)
