I don't dispute the level of toking, drinking and what not. So, what... 100billion+ flys eat shit you know. I hate the rational of comparing alcoholics with dopers too. Its like skinny and fatty making fun of each other. I also don't dispute that very intelligent people are user's. Again so what. All one has to do is look at the number of rehab programs that have long waiting lists. For each person struggling to get through rehab there are probably several that have been seriously effected by that person's drinking and drugging. I don't have to prove anything here. If you are an adult, you know good and well that lives are destroyed by drinking and doping. And I don't think rehab is even the beginning of the measure of how many peoples lives are turned upside down by drugs and alcohol. The attitude that it is pervasive and most people are just casual light weight users dismisses the seriousness of the issue. If ten peoples lives were messed up in this country by some insidious ameba found in cool aid and the problem looked like it would persist, cool aid would be banned. So why take this "harmless toke" perspective? It enables people who might be looking for a little support to clean up their act to continue down a destructive path.

It's always some other guy who uses drugs with no ill effect. I'm wondering if anyone who uses dope regularly with no ill effect and leads a successful life will step forward and share that information. I think you could talk about it online without the police beating down your door. Sheesh, there are loads of people out there with screen names and profiles which profile drug use.
