<<This isn't a stock that I'm playing with short-term dollars>>.

I am. I will be trading this stock from now on. The range appears to be 42-46 and unless they have superior earnings I do not think that is going to change. I got back in today at 42 3/8.

Advalorem,I am also long term and I never trade WCOM.
I have my better picks for a day, like BGEN,which is also beaten hardly and has about 2 bl in revenues.
My valuation of WCOM is very simple,UUNET itself is worth
at least 50 Bl and is growing year over year 50%.
Regards,
El Paradisio

i've heard wcom has a little-known - outside the industry -
advantage over T. that the latter has a quantity of poor quality fiber because it was installed by lucent years ago before the technique of manufacturing fiber optic cable had been as perfected as it has today. anyone know if this is true?
