Forced air with a nice hepp <s> whole house filter. If you house has two floors consider getting a zone system or two systems one for upstairs one for down stairs, my house is so open that we didn't have to get two systems. Solar doesn't make it if there are lots of trees, you are too far north anyhow. IMO.
