WOW, and it isn't even hurricane season yet !! I can hardly wait till May - June when gas purchasers all start watching the weather channel again !!!

As you may know, California gas does receive a "location premium" of roughly $0.20/mcf compared to the NYMEX futures. In addition, because the ELH gas is liquid (i.e. BTU) rich, it will also realize an approximate 20% "heat content premium". In other words, today the JV could probably have entered into a 31 day contract for May delivery at roughly $3.75-$3.80/mcf. Damn, if only they had some sales gas !! <gg>
