Thread: I did a screen at stockscores looking for abnormal volume and up moves in the energy sector. Up came Westminster and Magin for Toronto. Evening Grayhairs. PYR has a working website now. pyrenergy.com In it, they mention that the HC recovered at #1R was 1,300 btu gas and 60 degree API oil...nice! Does this mean that the JV's gas will command a 30% premium over the Nymex price? Dare I ponder a figure of $4/mcf? The stylised ELH cross section on the PYR website clearly shows the west flank structure, dipping to the East and being truncated by the Lost Hills thrust. You can see that it is a separate structure from the ELH anticline. This illustration better answers your question Bearcatbob, about why the BKP-WF#1 well is a wildcat exploration well.
