I don't recommend tea, actually. The active ingredients (and I thinkLather will confirm this) are not soluble in water, only oil or alcohol (among edible solvents, that is). You can saute a little in butter or olive oil, perhaps with garlic and fresh basil, and toss with pasta. Or - especially if you plan to cross borders - you can pour a bottle of dark-colored booze (whisky or dark rum are ideal) over your herb in a clear container, let stand in a sunny place for a week, and strain the booze back into the bottle.

It should be recalled that dosage is dicey with oral consumption, so a degree of caution is called for.
