Joe,
I'm working on writing a few books, and I do a lot of driving. I would love to be able to dictate as I drive. I know this doesn't cover many computer users, but this is just another app that requires a big CPU.

Jozef,

True, fast CPUs are often vanity items, but i really need all the speed I can find. I use PCs to layout boards in my department. When it comes to complex PC boards, we are talking hours of routing. We could make the program run faster by allowing the autorouter to use more layers but the price increase of the PC boards would be unacceptable. Sometimes the machine has been running all night long and will take several more hours to complete the job. I can use all the Mhz I can get.

Good luck to all.

Nick.
