This Q may have lot of similarities to same Q in 98 when office 2000 caused a massive blow out in earnings from the corporate app upgrade cycle. The additional boosters are 3 million windows 2000 sales and the 500k new MSN users.

How do you know that?
I actually played msft a few minutes ago, buying at 86 5/8 & selling at 87 5/8, 1000 shares, or $1000 in about 15 minutes and I'm safetly out. No worries, no job, no nothing, but money.
