New to this thread. I have several thousand HEG shares, the most recent bought yesterday, $.76US. Apparently there is a history of perceived incompetence on the part of management. Apparently lots of baggage from the days when HEG was selling at C$3.50. Understandable. (Hell, I still have some Ultra Petroleum shares at C$8.50!) Several things recommend these shares to my way of thinking: LOTS of reserves, proved and probable; a price for oil that will probably stay +$20 for the foreseeable future; natural gas that is approaching $3 and is destined to be the PREMIER fossil fuel; a partnership with a very good company, Halliburton; soon-to-be financing to make it all work. It's this last point, of course, that's creating so much great "dialogue" amongst you all! One other thing on the plus side: Lack of environmental hurdles to jump over. Those can be the toughest to all to overcome. So when the financing is in place, we'll have some spending money!
