SUMMARY:--Integrated Device Technology--Semiconductors
Given the current strength of business, we are revising upward our Q4 EPS
estimate from $0.33 to $0.36 and fiscal 2001 from $1.65 to $1.80. We are
also raising our price target from $45 to $55, 34x our new calendar 2001
EPS estimate of $1.60 (revised up from $1.42).OPINION:------------------------------------------------------------------
Given the strong tone of business, we raised our revenue forecast from
$186 million (up 5%) to $191 million (up 8%). The company may even beat
that. For next year, we raised our revenue forecast from $848 million (up
24%) to $893 million (up 30%). We believe revenues could grow at least
another 20% to $1,060 million in fiscal 2002.
The current tone of business appears to be off the charts, and is all
coming from the right direction: wireless and wireline infrastructure.
