dear jdn and all, I am sure sunw will continue to innovate. as an investor, in sunw or msft or what ever, we should be focused strictly on company's long term ability to grow, differentiate themsevels from others and build barriers to entry. If your pretend to be a custoemer of their product who would your give your business to? All these theotical dramas will come and go and is a way to spend time while we wait for erning and more importantly direction to furure growth. I belive this is the only company that has so much talent under one roof. A company's current talent is future $$$$. If there was a mutliple that can be attached to sunw stock price / talent, Sunw is VERY UNDERVALUED is an understatement. Dell has to depend on intel/msft before it can come up w. new products. With sunw it's all here Chips, OS and servers. Above everything sunw does not tout about all it's innovations untill things are rolling. So trust me there are things you and even sunw's vendors' have never heard of are in pipe line and sunw will continue to amaze wallstreet for many years to come. - machines that would update Sun's E10,000 or Starfire line of Unix servers - to be delayed until the end of the year. It's not just the speeed of the processors (has 750MHz 1GHz UltraSprac III prototype running ) but how it all works to gether in a benchmark w. the customers' final applications. .... Customers want solutions not processors speed. How does the orcl sw or CAD applications, or e-commerce application work ? Speed, exapandablity, security... ya di da di dum ...and ya di da di da and beat goes on and we will have antoher few bucks in our pocket. Thanx to all the hard tatelented people who work at sunw cuz they enjoy it it's not all about making mony for them. So these are my commments.
