Rarebird, good reply and I would like to add more simple
and hopefully common sense additions so that others might
see a foundation type base of ideas to build upon and use
them either self contained or as seperate pieces to move
around like a zig saw puzzle or pieces of lego to collect
together and make something that has a purpose for use.

<The mainstream American USA citizen
has decided not to think or understand or ask why>

<<Nothing unusual about that.
That has been going on for ages
in this pragmatic society>>

The word pragmatic most all understand the dictionary meaning
even if that meaning was over time modified and changed
to adapt to new stimuli from either a more complex social system
of people, or to a social system that exposes more of its inners.

To me pragmatic has a negative tone for my personal use,
as it to me means accept what "is", and if it is not good,
then continue to accept it and make the best out of a bad
situation without trying to right the wrong.

Most times I have to take this approach as I can not deal effectivily
to correct a wrong and may suffer more lost trying. Also, there
are times its best to turn the other cheek and accept that the
other side, even if wrong or evil, has the upper hand. Also those
newly created problems obtained when mankind goes places to work
or live that are already "in use", for example houses out west usa
built in wildness areas that are already pee'ed upon by large
and dangerous big cat animals saying to all others, this land is mine
and either stay out or I will bite you and may eat you.

<<-though there are some here who do think and question.>>

Those like Rarebird and Ron Reece are like high performance cars
with 12 cylinders. I have to add that Ron's needs either a tune-up
or more likely the electrical wiring has some shorts in places.

<<Chairman Greenspan is the Savior.>>

I still think he will be a good person to have around in charge
after any bubble popps. Currently he is doing anti-himself but
he is aware of that and is full control of it.

<<NY have Hillary Clinton opening up a nice lead
over Mayor Giulianni for that open US Senate seat.>>

I liked Giulianni until I saw him wearing a dress and acting
very hard to appear dumb and stupid on those late night talk shows.

When one can do this seamlessly its ok,
but without having that middle present
and he has to "jump" over the middle,
then its a sign to me of a problem.
