Re wash sale. THanks in advance to people answering this question - if Id bought 100 sh XYZ on Mar 11 and sold 50 shares at a loss on Mar 12, would that be construed as a wash sale? What if Id bought 50 sh XYZ on Mar 11 and sold them all on Mar 12 - can "substantially identical" be twisted to mean "same"?
