You can't have it both ways.

Let them expire or be called and write next months..

If you are into keeping your stock and your premium you should just play the market.

Everyone wants to keep their stock and premium when stock starts up.

Your premium has nothing to do with it. With a strike price of $55, your stock will be called away at $55 or above on expiry....below $55, and you keep it.
