Re: Do you really think that the Bush administration will go after Intel? I just hope that George Jr. doesn't continue his father's tradition of sending the troops off for Christmas every year. i.e. Panama, Iraq, Somalia. Scumbria, Did I miss something? Has bush become pres? Seriously, I hope that we don't let another democrat in, but part of me thinks it's going to happen. Bush is too phony, Gore's a dumbass, who will win it out? I'm hoping for Bush, maybe he can reduce my taxes. If we get Gore, it's only moves us closer to communism. Before anyone jumps all over me, I think the democrats have moved closer to communism than we realize. We will still have a little choice, but they want the "big gov" to provide everything for everyone. That really irritates me as I went through 4 years of college and spend my free time learning about the stock market and investing. How am I supposed to feel any compassion for people (some who are friends) that spend all their money (and whatever creditors will lend them) and waste their time watching "friends"? Back to the issue (enough ranting), as long as it's up in the air who will win, which it is now, INTC has to watch their back. We won't know until November with any certainty, this will give AMD enough time to prosper throughout the year. Look at today's news, the justice department is thinking of taking away IE from MSFT. If measures like this are even being considered, INTC knows it better watch its every move. Get into a pricing war with AMD and knock them out, bad news. INTC is better off letting AMD (and others) have 20-30% of the market just to avoid getting anti-trust charges. It's a huge market, they can still make a lot of money letting AMD survive. chic
