so long as they continue to screw up AMD will be okay. But seriously, how much longer do you think that will happen? And I don't mean that question rhetorically.

I believe that it will go on indefinitely. Intel is too arrogant right now to compete effectively. They come out with a great design (Willy) and cripple it's potential market position with Rambus. They keep insisting that Merced will be a good product, despite all evidence to the contrary.

They were even dense enough to put DRDRAM on Timna. Intel has become much too top heavy to stop a nimble competitor like AMD.

TI, is not in the same product line.

Not anymore. They flunked out of the x86 business.
