Light volume Monday-a bearish read: There were few sellers on Monday as those who survived the 4-4-'00 shakeout became complacent on the rebound, but...there were even fewer natural buyers at Mondays early levels, so prices had to go down NASDAQ -250 to balance it out. Should those holding with complacency become nervous and again panic or sell in normal to higher volumes, buyers will only appear at lower levels. They did not appear on Monday at those levels in force [light volume], and should selling accelerate, there is no reason to think buying will similarly accelerate-except at lower levels. thanks,Mike

heinz blasnik: Last week's intraday rebound encourages dipsters to buy the bigger dip or hold through the bigger dip.

Low volume now implies two things to me...no fear during stronger declines the intended outcome from last Tuesday's rebound and no major big boy accumulation!

The NAZ is now going to have to breach significantly Tuesday's low to generate fear! IMO

CSCO <----- Found support on the lower trend line of the Oct 99 Rising Trading Channel plotted on the chart I posted last night. This is a key support area to keep an eye on...

I think the rise in low volume as well as the fall in low volume indicates that the institutions haven't pariticipated
in either direction ... yet.

Thanks
