response to OT... what do you want me to dispute about that? but there's a PRICE limit for EVERYTHING....yes, that includes tech stocks, as well... i'm certainly not going to say technology doesn't drive growth...heck, fire was new technology, as was the wheel, steam engine, and on and on... i'm a true believer in technology, but at the right price. to say you're going to buy MOT just because it's a technology stalwarth is putting aside all valuation principals. i just can't do that. oh, and to conversely ignore an insurance company trading under book value with a 5% dividend is just as large a mistake.

Ron, you make an excellent case for technology stocks.

The first sentence in the clipped paragraph is undeniably true. I can guarantee you that if the second part refers to decisions relative to the markets it does NOT automatically follow.
