NEW YORK, April 14 (Reuters) - Chase Hambrecht & Quist said Friday started coverage of several technology companies.

-- started electronics maker Celestica Inc. (NYSE: CLS) with a buy.

-- started Plexus Corp.(NASDAQ: PLXS), which provides services such as testing and manufacturing for the electronics industry, as a buy.

-- started diversified electronics maker SCI Systems Inc.(NYSE: SCI) with a buy.

-- started manufacturing services provider Jabil Circuit Inc.(NYSE: JBL) as a buy.

-- shares of Celestica fell 2-3/8 to 44-1/4; shares of Plexus rose 13/16 to 63-5/16; shares of SCI Systems slipped 1-3/4 to 45 and shares of Jabil dipped 2-1/2 to 31-13/16.
