I just hope Sanders' "may have more good news in store" was something substantial.

This rocket fuel may need a serious blast to ignite it.

Re: "effective float"

NG,
The float is 109.4 million shares. Of this 76% is owned by institutions, which leaves an "effective float" of roughly 26.256 million shares.

On top of that, add the 10.3 million shares short (as of March 8th).

Add in today's MOT news. Good quarter, not the greatest outlook.

AMD tanks today. Possibly the shorts piled into AMD today looking for the same type of earnings news tommorrow, followed by a tank in AMD's stock.

We all know how good tommorrow and the rest of the year will be.

"effective float" of 26.256 mil + 10.3 mil short + CC = an explosive situation.
