PC Sales and Microsoft

The major growth is occuring in PC Server Business running on Intel Chips - In the web farms, (like exodous, Navisites of the world) which are running Linux, Free BSD, solaris and WIndows NT). This is the major growth area rather than corporate sales. With an outsourceing of IT infrastruture, allocation of computer equipment is moving out from in-house coroparation installations to outsourced model (or hosted model)

lagging corporated sales is being more than matched by dales in the WebFarms.

Check up Netcraft report (www.netcraft.com) ~10,000,000 domanis are running on PC Server - not to count the replication of site and caching that goes along with it.

thanks
Laloo
