What I find confusing is the following:

Goldman Sachs analyst Rick Sherlun cut his estimate for the software giant's revenues in the March quarter because of slow personal computer sales.

Does this make ANY sense given that both AMD and INTC are likely to blow out?

Or is this just an attempt to belatedly pile on MS (with a weak and unfounded excuse)?

I expect in typical fashion the market will consider AMD good news to be Intel bad news and I will consider a further INTC dip to be the proverbial Brinker gift horse.

I also expect that next Wednesday am will make this prediction look prescient.
