[Winstar and MediaOnDemand.com Form Strategic Alliance; Partnership to Focus on Reciprocal Business Development Components]

NEW YORK, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- MediaOnDemand.com, a leading streaming multimedia application service provider (ASP), today announced a new strategic relationship with Winstar Communications, Inc. The alliance includes both an operating agreement by which the two companies will capitalize on their respective strengths to generate new business opportunities as well as a $1 million direct investment in MediaOnDemand.com by Winstar.

Under the new business agreement, Winstar will offer MediaOnDemand.com's full range of streaming multimedia and broadcasting services to its clients, providing them with a single-source solution for custom-designed Webcast creation as well as content delivery. The arrangement also enables MediaOnDemand.com to utilize Winstar's backbone and colocation facilities for hosting and delivering streaming multimedia solutions to select clients, providing them with additional high-bandwidth resources and access to Winstar's global network. MediaOnDemand.com will use the direct investment from Winstar to continue its ongoing expansion.
