Another satisfied customer...

In the May issue of Money magazine, on page 31, is a sidebar titled Millionaires in the Making. This month it highlights Steven and Sunni Kang of Victor NY who have assets of $400,000. Within the body it says:

"Kang honed his financial skills, in part, by investing his parents' money. In two years, he turned a $75,000 profit. That success spurred him to become master of his own universe. Last May, Kang rolled over his $180,000 401K into an IRA and began trading online. His kitty has since soared a whopping 92% to $345,000, thanks to a few hot picks such as Electronics for Imaging and Rambus"

Over 48,000 served <G>.

Its old, and the author could hardly be considered an unbiased commentator!

I don't believe all that stuff about guard traces either!

Interesting! The article was written in August last year.
It seems to be a position paper on the part of JEDEC.

It will take a while to check the accuracy of the numbers he is reporting on RDRAM. But they are certainly easy to check against the actual data sheets.

According to the article there are no hidden liabilities to DDR-266. But we know differently already.

:)

Hi Gene Parrott; What did I say, the longs would complain that it was obviously a biased paper cause the author signed his name?

But dramreview.com wasn't biased because Rambus didn't sign their name to it?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA This is getting more and more like AENG or OVIS. Stuart plays the part of Riley asking people to "call in their certs."

What I will do this weekend is backtrack the dramreview figures for power consumption. I believe that I know how they computed their lies, and I can show to any (competent) digital engineer where the errors are. They are off by nearly an order of magnitude, it truly is silly. How could they put something like this on a website that was traceable back to them???

The response of the longs will be to try and change the subject. But I will instead go through the issues on that website one at a time, and thoroughly, we will not miss anything.

Of course, mom and pop will still be in a "he said, she said" situation regarding the electronics issues, but they at least, will no longer be able to be in a "he said, she said" situation regarding the ethics issues.
