Well,

I would post IRC logs, but I would probably get thrown in jail or something :P...

I was actually expecting $1.20ish (even hinted at it with being $.4 low on $.83, etc.)..

I'm actually a TAD disappointed that AMD didn't break 2M athlon this quarter, I REALLY thought they had a chance. Oh well...

Quesiton, with AMD having a BILLION+ in cash, and expecting to sell that division this quarter (not sure how many of you caught the subtle in the CC), they are QUITE likely to take a large chunk out of their debt, thereby lowering the cost to service the debt in the future (which runs $18M a quarter apparently).

I wouldn't be surprised to see the entire cash proceeds from the division sale used to pay down debt. Just something to keep in mind. Money breeds money.

Steve

Chuck,

You are on the money. Actually your post earlier today helped encourage me to pull the trigger for more higher strike options. You are one of a few gigas on this thread (niceguy, Scumbria, Goutama, Mani, Ted, Steve, Jim, ......).

Thanks.
