I'll try it one more time, Puff.

I was addressing the rationale you offered
for your theory.

My point is that the facts on which you
based your "theory" were known for months.
You were late in getting there, so it should
not surprise you that others are not willing
to instantly accept your analysis after your
longer history as a rather rampant bull.

You are also pretty extreme in your bearishness
and many people are not psychologically ready to go
there.

What prompted my initial post to you was
the fact that you seem to be getting into
it with posters everywhere, some of whom
were former colleagues of sorts, because they
are reluctant to accept your analysis or
disagree with the complete 180 degree turn
you seem to have made overnight. Those who
have not seen the light according to Puff
are dumb, stupid, children and worse.

Frankly, I had no particular interest in
engaging you on the merits of your argument,
but was more interested in supplying a counter-
point to your evident hostility and an alternative
way of looking at the reaction you're getting.

While you probably have a lot on the ball,
I sincerely doubt that you are smarter than
99% of the people on SI. I wonder what makes
you post a comment like that, particularly on
the heels of admitting major losses and an intent
to get a full-time job.

That kind of thing hurts your credibility.

If you're correct about the market now,
you will make money, and God bless you
and any one else who does what you suggest.

I daresay there are those who lost money along with
you when the prices that were up a short time ago
plunged and you didn't have your bear analysis in
place in time.

No one is perfect and no one can predict this
market with 100% certainty. If that were not so,
we'd all be extraordinarily rich.

So, we do the best that we can and try not to
make things unnecessarily unpleasant along the way.

So, my actual message to you is to lighten up, if
you can, and act on your theory du jour whatever
it may be.

And, whatever you do, don't ever call me stupid
again!<g>
