David,

The lesson I have learned from this recent market "action" (that's too light of a word to describe its sickening effect) is to buy stock/sell covered calls, buy puts somewhat below the strike price.

I have not done any math on figuring out where such puts should be bought, but if only I had done so, I would not be in the abominable situation I am now. I will certainly incorporate this into my next cc situation.

Hi Doc,

it is always great to see you on the porch. I am sure you have an idea but number one, you took premium that should almost always be set aside and not used, second of course you played options and left the REASONABLE security of the CC's.
