That is about what I figured also. I am looking for either a buy signal or more washout, it looks like it could go either way right now. I'll just wait awhile longer.

Took some profit in CTB. It met my swing trading position target.

OT, but interesting>
I read today that AT&T (T) is going to raise cable rates 10% nationwide. (what happened to no inflation?) (AT&T bought TCI) Anyway, these guys are looking for trouble, as Joey six pack is going to call his congressman, and we will have the govt. taking a look at cable rates just like they did some years back. I have also called their AtHome subsdiary to see if I can get the speedy i-net service they offer. Each time I call I talk to an abject moron who cannot tell me if hi-speed access is in my area or not.

Jim, looks like a lot of forced sells today due to margin calls that could not be met by overextended "investors"

I hear margin calls are up 500% this week...I wonder how soon, if at all, the folks burned in this rout will be back in the markets?

Also, those big inflation numbers out today don't help. Kind of fits with my post about AT&T boosting cable rates 10%. No inflation, sure....
