Bush didn't have that much authority on the matter. I believe Texas has a final review panel on whether a death sentence can be commuted and she was turned down.

bp, So, you would prefer that someone, who brutally took another human being's life, should be housed in relative comfort, fed, and, actually, entertained for an unknown number of years at an exorbitant cost to the, already burdened, taxpayers of this country.
