I think "brilliant" would be a bit premature, given that, even after all this selling, the S&P 500 is still above where it was when the January newsletter was published. But I will admit that 60/40 gives me a nice, comfortable feeling in the face of such incredible volatility.

I am confused. Since 1/11/00, the S&P 500 is down 0.1% and the Wilshire 5000 is down 1.2%. So what is the big deal?
