Perhaps you missed the posts that expressed the hope that William would be the first one to lose all his money. If he has ever responded negatively back, and he has taken such crap by now that he may have finally responded strongly, then it is a 50:1 ratio. You can get involved in this if you would like, but I was specifically responding to totally uncalled for attacks on him.

Do you have any idea what a lack of courage it takes to pile on? I read these posts and wonder who some of these folks think they are. It is truly sick. Hiding behind their pc, using pseudonyms, and attacking someone when the market is going against them, then disappearing when the tide turns against them. Really, really slimy stuff.

>>I guess you've missed all those "Shorts are Toast" posts that have appeared on this and other threads at the height of manic buying?

Eric, the point is they didn't come from me, and I'm the one taking the shit. I have never celebrated anyone's losses, rubbed anyone's nose in my profits, and have never said "I told you so." I certainly can't be faulted for some hidden agenda or pump-and-dump. My trades and positions are posted.

I don't know with any certainty what the motivation of all this is. Maybe one of the bears will explain their feelings. I suppose I have been consistently bullish over the past few years in spite of the bears concerns about valuation and they resented my success. So this is venting...chance to "get even" psychologically...to have the last laugh. However I am truly surprised and offended by personalization and the mean-spirtedness of the posts. It's like I was stealing or something, and should be run out of town on a rail!

This will all pass, and I'll stick around here. If the leaders grow and prosper and their stocks leg up again as I expect, I wont rub it in. Again, that's bullshit.

>>companies with stable stock prices with justifiable valuations are better for our economy and society as a whole

Well put. To interpret: Giddy valuations misallocate resources. It doesn't do our economy good to have the best and brightest hopping from whatever.com to whocares.com.
