it does seem to be amazing to be trading at 1/2 its cash and this does not count assets or revs. go figure. i have also questioned if the arrangement with t is done or if prices drop to a level if they can pay a penalty and renegotiate.

How SAVVY can you be .....

All the scenario's on the market losses being put forth, to me at least, are difficult to comprehend. Wow the typical investor making equal the Nasdaq average last year - give me a break - let alone the scenario of the 100K of our hypothetical investor going to 1.1M. Then selling all that stock in 1999 for a 1M profit but not aware of the tax implications? This is the reason for the market downturn - get real.

Are we to understand that Mr. Savvy sold last year then reinvested the money in the same stocks but didn't make any money during the 25% Nasdaq first quarter gain. I say this same savvy individual who had a ten bagger last year had at least a two bagger this year and therefore has 2.2M in his account. Plenty of money in his account to pay his taxes.

Now for reality .....

The "savvy" investor pays his taxes early!!!!!!!

Carl

PS Obviously the "savvy" investor also didn't own any IDTC last year (lol)
