Randy: I always thought net stocks were really options -- an option to own something in the future that might or might not be worth something. If you only invest what you can afford to lose -- and I mean lose 100% -- then you cannot go wrong. Otherwise, it is a bad decision. These stocks are good long-term investments only in the same sense that a leap with 2 years to expiration and way out of the money is a good investment -- it is a bet which you could win or lose -- 100%.

<I don't see why it matters> What matters is the damage -- the segment of the population most likely to want to own these stocks -- or that impulse in the average person -- will be as alive as the current enthusiasm for IOM.
