Actually, I am one of the most bookmarked members on Silicon Investor.

Also, how is it irresponsible? I am basically saying we give up all the gains from October onwards. Many individual stocks have done that already - the indexes are slower and take longer to catch up.

Why would a 54% correction necessarily be idiotic and irresponsible?

It's happened before; in fact, a correction of that parameter happened in technology stocks both in the 70's and 80's. If it were to happen now, you could say that the 90's correction was just a little late.
