I think MSFT is doing the dragging. Especially now that it's in both the Dow and Nasdaq indices.

For curiosity, I looked up the PEs of MSFT for the last decade. We've seen a PE of 21! Now, take today's earnings of $1.7 and multiply by this PE and we get a stock price below $40. This isn't a new groundbreaking price since we've been here before. Admittedly, we've not seen a PE this low in quite some time, but then again, we haven't seen a 30% declines recently either.

I'm not predicting further declines. I just wanted to know what's the worst I've seen, so I'm prepared.
