I didn't say Intel's processor unreliability causes Windows to crash. I said that Intel's processors do not offer the hardware support that allows operating systems to separate their code and data from that of applications'. Nothing wrong with Intel's chips, it's just that this stuff is not part of their chip's job description. Even the world's best chips don't do what they were never designed for.

Sorta like having a reliable sports car. It does its job well, but you wouldn't use it to transfer elephants from zoo to zoo.

Cheers, PW.
