You are obviously misinformed. Windows2K is NOT a consumer OS. You will NOT see it in a retail shop. No corporation would go down to Fry's and buy up a bunch of copies of Win2K server and client.

While Win2K is not a consumer OS, it is most definitely being sold in retail shops. To deny this is foolish as you've also always been able to buy WinNT in retail shops.

Don't know if johnd is right about how fast w2000 is selling, but it DOES sell through those locations. Seen it myself. Also, lots of individuals would still buy it even though it's a corporate platform. Not only IT departments of corporations.
