Well. I don't think you have to be investing in 1987 to take a lesson from it. I didn't invest then either. I think the worst thing will be panic sell, unless have a margin call and have no other way to meet it. JIMO.

Well George, is this the replay of 1987?-I remember that Friday the 16th very well-it fell hard, everybody thought what a buying opportunity (incl me) and then the real deal hit Monday am.We shall see.----Michael Murphy of CTSL was 80% in cash on Wed waiting for near the bottom and in his Wed night hotline he said he was buying a whole slew of tech stocks at the Thurs open to go to 140% invested. He paid the opening gap up on Thurs am on MSFT,INTC,ORCL,AMAT,CSCO,LSI,COMS,GBLX,PSFT,EGRP and a few other smaller companies. His special update Thurs evening said not to worry, the correction will be over by Monday latest. But what a correction. Today, SP500 broke its uptrend line from the 99 low as well as from the Oct 98 low. ---I'm still at 81% cash at the moment. bought WM near the close--I can sleep at night (vbg).
